As part of the month long event, we are inviting all kinds of developers (front end, backend, full stack, python, Django, javascript) to take a shot at building better technology for social good.

No matter what your level of expertise is, one of our senior developers will guide you to take that first step towards contributing to open source.

Step 1: Signup for the event here

Step 2: Join our discord community using the invitation on your email 

Step 3: Fork the project of your choice and read through the documentation

Step 4: Explore our ongoing projects and list of "help wanted / hacktoberfest" items

Step 5: Pick an issue of your choice and submit a pull request

Thats it, you are done. One of our project maintainers will review your pull request and accept the change. 

Now, just don't stop there, pick another item, much bigger item and close it.
